A charismatic public speaker and fierce civil rights advocate, Dru Ramey has been a national spokesperson on issues relating to diversity and leadership in the legal profession and greater society for more than 30 years. Known for her dry wit and sharp sense of humor, Dru has the ability to inspire and bring people from diverse backgrounds together to address a common goal.
Dru focuses her management consulting practice on diversity, public interest law, pro bono legal services, and leadership development. Drawing upon her broad range of nonprofit executive experience, she assists law firms, bar associations, legal non-profits, law schools, and corporate law departments in the development of programs and initiatives that have a positive impact on the legal profession and lead to meaningful institutional change.
Over the course of her career, Dru has been a trusted mentor and advisor to non-profit executives, law firm managing partners and diverse partners’ groups, law professors, bar leaders and judges, as well as diverse law students and attorneys. She provides strategic leadership support to those charged with developing and implementing effective programs to drive institutional change, and advises those from historically underrepresented groups seeking to advance in the profession.
